Converse has been making sneakers, since the launching of the company, for over one hundred years. Marquis Mills Converse opened Converse, a rubber shoe company in February of 1908 in Massachusetts. By 1910, the business was producing many shoes daily. It wasn't until 1917 when the catalyst for the brand was introduced, the Converse All-Star Basketball Shoe. Then in 1923 Charles H. "Chuck" Taylor, a basketball player found himself an ambassador for the company, promoting the shoes throughout the US. In 1932 Taylors signature was added to the All-Star patch on the ever classic high-top sneaker, which hasn't changed to this day. Now, aiming to design and create new street classic Converse is still the ideal pairing with your favourite pair of jeans.
